We're writing to you regarding your service on our Backupsy server node12.
As you're aware, lastl week we suffered a server failure which has been determined to be both a RAID card and drive failure at the same time. We have worked tirelessly over the past week to recover the array, however it appears that this will not be successful.
At this time we are going to consider the disk array lost, and will instead be re-creating your VPS on a different host node. This host node is a newer, more modern build and we expect it to provide you with years of reliable service.
We will be providing you with two months of free service on this new VPS as compensation for having to set up your backup configuration again. This new VPS will have the same IP as your old VPS, and will have an additional 512MB of RAM applied. If you have purchased our "configure it for me" offering for your original VPS, we will be reaching out to you to run through a new configuration on the new VPS free of charge.
We understand the disruption that this situation has on your usage, and we apologize for any inconvenience encountered. We remain committed to providing great service at a reasonable cost, and look forward to serving you for years to come. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ticket in and a member of our team will be glad to respond.
